"Hey there cheapskate, señor tightpants, scrooge!" A little poetic dirt slung in the customer's face is the name of the game at this college town coffee shop. Born of an overall branding, advertising and environmental design exercise, bold and irreverent typographic statements compliment the playful (and somewhat disturbing) illustrations. Designed to work with basically no budget—bags and coffee sleeves are stamped in one color and sealed with stickers, the interior shop and gallery space are painted bright orange, white and black to draw in passersby.
